Disney’s Newest Ship, Disney Destiny, Scores Perfect 100 on Health Inspection
Disney Cruise Line is continuing its spotless winning streak on the high seas! Disney’s newest hero-and-villain-themed vessel, the Disney Destiny, has officially joined the elite ranks of cruise ships after earning a flawless 100/100 score on its latest unannounced health inspection from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The perfect score was awarded following a surprise inspection by the CDC’s Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP). The CDC conducts these unannounced health checks on all passenger cruise ships sailing into U.S. ports to ensure strict environmental health and hygiene standards are being maintained.
After making its maiden voyage in November 2025, the Disney Destiny initially earned a solid score of 96 during its first routine check in December. Fast forward to its latest unannounced evaluation, and the crew achieved pure perfection with a 100 out of 100!
The Disney Destiny isn’t the only Disney ship making waves with top-tier cleanliness. It becomes the fifth Disney Cruise Line ship to score a perfect 100, joining its sister ships:
- Disney Dream
- Disney Fantasy
- Disney Magic
- Disney Treasure
In fact, every single Disney Cruise Line ship inspected this year has earned a score of 98 or higher. Over the past three and a half years, no vessel in the Disney fleet has scored below a 95 (with any score under 86 considered failing by CDC standards).
A CDC Vessel Sanitation inspection is no walk in the park. Inspectors board unannounced and spend six to eight hours meticulously examining every operational corner of the ship. Key areas inspected include:
