Lacey Chabert Overwhelmed by Tears Over Disney World Hallmark Project

Hallmark’s undisputed queen of Christmas is making her ultimate holiday dream come true—and the pure, unscripted excitement was enough to literally knock her off her feet!

During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Lacey Chabert opened up about the overwhelming emotion she experienced when she officially learned she’d be starring in Hallmark’s upcoming holiday film, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.

“I had a dream come true—I got to go to Disney World to make a movie,” Chabert shared on air. “When they called and asked me to be a part of it, I was on camera… I literally fell off camera and started crying.”

For Chabert, getting the nod to headline a Hallmark Christmas feature inside The Most Magical Place on Earth was a major career highlight. Production on the movie took place at Walt Disney World Resort, with crews spotted filming across iconic locations—including Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and near the Cinderella Fountain in Magic Kingdom.

When asked by producers if she wanted to rent a local apartment during the month-long shoot, the lifelong Disney fan didn’t hesitate:

• Resort Living: She opted to stay on property at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
• Iconic Eats: Chabert joked that she indulged in Mickey waffles “almost every day.”
• Park Thrills: During her days off, she hit the parks, citing TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT as two of her absolute favorite rides.

Co-starring Travis Van Winkle, the romantic comedy follows Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family as they head to Walt Disney World for Christmas. Lindsey’s dream getaway hits an unexpected snag when she discovers her room is right next door to Philip (Van Winkle)—a man with whom she recently had a disastrous first date.

Naturally, as their paths continue to cross across the resort, a little Disney holiday magic turns their festive rivalry into an unforgettable romance.

Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True will premiere as part of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas lineup, with streaming available the next day on Hallmark+.
