Inside the NEW Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs!
If you’ve ever wanted to stay elevated among the treetops at Walt Disney World, chances are the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are high on your bucket list! Disney has been hard at work giving these popular 3-bedroom, rustic standalone accommodations a major refresh, and now a brand-new video tour from the Disney Files team gives us our most detailed look inside yet.
The updated villas seamlessly blend rustic New England craftsmanship with over a century of Disney animation history—and trust us, the hidden details and Easter eggs packed into these rooms are incredible!

Here are five of the biggest highlights revealed in the new room-by-room tour:
1. Hidden Character Sculptures
The Imagineering team took “hidden details” to a whole new level! Tucked away at unexpected heights and angles throughout the villa, you’ll find subtle 3D character sculptures. Keep your eyes peeled above the wood beam framing the kitchen to spot Cinderella’s helpful bluebird friends. Peek under the dining table bench and you might just catch Bruni, the fiery salamander from Frozen 2, resting beneath the seat!
2. Arts & Crafts Insect Tiles
Not all the artwork comes in huge murals. Suspended above the kitchen area is a gorgeous collection of Arts and Crafts-style tiles featuring iconic Disney insect characters. Highlights include Cri-Kee (Mulan), Evinrude (The Rescuers), Ray (The Princess and the Frog), Squeaks (The Fox and the Hound), and even Spike the Bee!

3. A Dreamy Kids’ Bedroom
The kids’ room is packed with storybook charm. The bunk beds (which sleep up to three guests) feature a back mural of woodland creatures from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, complete with matching throw pillows. Look closely at the bunk bed posts and you’ll see Gus-Gus from Cinderella carved right into the wood. Plus, when you pull down the fold-away bed, you’ll reveal a hidden mural of Bucky and his parent from the Walt Disney Animation Studios short Far From the Tree.
4. Sleeping Beauty & Eyvind Earle-Inspired Art
In the second bedroom, guests will be treated to a striking mural inspired by Disney’s 1959 animated classic, Sleeping Beauty. The trees and forest backdrops pay tribute to legendary Disney artist Eyvind Earle, featuring his iconic geometric shapes and distinctive artistic style that defined the film.

5. Primary Suite & Luxury Bath
The primary bedroom offers a sweet headboard mural featuring Tod and Copper from The Fox and the Hound chasing a butterfly through the forest. Nightstands feature subtle carved Hidden Mickeys, and the primary bathroom has received a major upgrade, boasting one of the largest walk-in showers on property!
When Can You Stay?
The Treehouse Villas refurbishment is taking place in phased clusters so current guests can continue to enjoy the resort. The complete renovation across all 60 octagonal standalone villas is expected to wrap up later this year.
