Beak and Barrel Bar Launching a Walk-Up List Soon

Ye-scurvy dogs are in luck! If you’ve been struggling to score a reservation at Magic Kingdom’s wildly popular Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge, a much easier way to grab a table is on the horizon.

Disney is quietly preparing to roll out a brand-new Mobile Walk-Up List for The Beak and Barrel!

Eagle-eyed guests scanning the My Disney Experience app will notice that a shiny new “Join Walk-Up List” button has officially appeared on the dining page for The Beak and Barrel.

Right now, if you try to tap the button, it will take you to an error page. This is standard practice for Disney when they are testing out digital features behind the scenes before making them live for everyday park guests. It means the feature is built, ready, and likely launching very soon!

Ever since The Beak and Barrel opened its doors in Adventureland last fall, it has easily been one of the toughest dining reservations to secure in all of Walt Disney World. Because the highly detailed pirate tavern is on the smaller side, Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) consistently vanish the second they open up 60 days in advance.

Adding a digital walk-up option mirrors what Disney recently did with Astrofizz over in Tomorrowland when they added Mobile Ordering. Once active, the walk-up list will allow you to open your app while you’re near Adventureland, see the estimated wait time, and join the queue virtually while you continue shopping or riding Pirates of the Caribbean.

No more hoarding reservations months in advance just to enjoy a drink and a bite in the captain’s quarters!
