Shakira Surprises World Tour Crowd with New Song from Zootopia 2
Disney and pop music fans are getting an unbelievable treat on Shakira’s current tour! The multi-GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar has kicked off her highly anticipated “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” World Tour, and the setlist features an electrifying track that is giving Zootopia 2 fans a massive reason to celebrate.
Shakira is officially performing her breakout anthem, “Zoo,” live on stage—the hit single from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ box-office juggernaut, Zootopia 2!
Shakira famously returned to the recording booth to voice Zootopia’s favorite pop icon, Gazelle, for the smash-hit sequel. Now, she’s bringing that animated magic into the real world.
Her live performance of “Zoo” is a full-on theatrical nod to the film, complete with roaring tiger background dancers and playful Gazelle horns. The star-studded track was co-written by Shakira, Ed Sheeran, and Blake Slatkin, and produced by Slatkin, Alex (A.C.) Castillo, Shakira, and Ed Sheeran.
The live debut of “Zoo” comes right on the heels of the film’s historic success. Zootopia 2 has officially shattered records to become the highest-grossing animated MPA release of all time globally, as well as the highest MPA release of 2025.
