Buc-ee’s Is Expanding Again with Four New Florida Locations in the Works
Florida’s Buc-ee’s fans may want to start planning a few extra road trips because the beloved beaver isn’t done expanding just yet. According to new reports, Buc-ee’s has four Florida locations either under construction or in various stages of development, giving Sunshine State travelers even more opportunities to stock up on Beaver Nuggets, brisket sandwiches, and those famously spotless restrooms.

The next two Florida Buc-ee’s locations are expected to open in 2027, with new travel centers planned for Fort Pierce and Tallahassee. Looking a little farther down the road, an Ocala location is currently targeting a 2029 opening, while plans are also moving forward for a future Port Charlotte store. Construction timelines can always shift, but the continued investment shows Buc-ee’s has no plans of slowing down in Florida.
The expansion is part of Buc-ee’s nationwide growth strategy, with dozens of new stores planned across 16 states over the next several years. From Arkansas and Louisiana to Wisconsin and Utah, the iconic Texas-based chain continues to bring its oversized travel centers to more drivers across the country. Once construction begins, Buc-ee’s says a typical travel center takes about 18 to 24 months to build.
