Grand Floridian Café Refurbishment Closing Date Confirmed by Disney World
As announced earlier, the Grand Floridian Café at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is scheduled to close for an extended, months-long refurbishment. We now know the closing date for the cafe.

We now have official confirmation that the venue’s final day of operation will be Sunday, July 19, before it officially shutters for renovation on Monday, July 20. Guests planning visits later this year will need to adjust their dining itineraries, as the extensive refurbishment is projected to last through October 2026.
To accommodate guests during this temporary closure, Disney is shifting its popular morning lineup over to a neighboring venue. The restaurant’s signature brunch service will temporarily move to Cítricos, operating daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors can also rest assured that all other dining locations throughout Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will remain open and available to serve them throughout the renovation period.
