Universal Epic Universe Celebrates One Year with New Merchandise, Vinyl Soundtracks, and More
Universal Epic Universe is officially turning one, and Universal Orlando is celebrating the milestone with a treasure chest full of new merchandise, collectible soundtrack releases, and exclusive anniversary offerings across all five worlds of the park.
The massive anniversary rollout arrives just ahead of Epic Universe’s first birthday on May 22, marking one year since Universal Orlando’s game-changing fourth theme park officially opened its portals to guests. From Spirit Jerseys and Loungefly bags to collectible wands and soundtrack vinyl, this celebration feels like a greatest hits album for Epic Universe fans.

Celestial Park is leading the anniversary festivities with several standout items, including a new Spirit Jersey featuring Chronos, an Epic Universe Lug crossbody bag, and a physical vinyl release of the Celestial Park soundtrack. Universal is also releasing a special Chronos statue featuring collectible coins themed to each world of Epic Universe. Meanwhile, Captain Cacao is getting his own merch moment with an adorable Lug crossbody and matching coin purse charm just as the character begins meet-and-greets in the park on May 22. That bear really went from candy shop mascot to full-blown celebrity at warp speed.
Over in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Universal is dropping the land’s first-ever Spirit Jersey alongside Mount Beanpole-inspired merchandise featuring Mario. New items include a tumbler with a Mount Beanpole flag straw topper, a tote bag, backpack, and a limited release Gold Power-Up Band that joins the existing interactive band lineup used throughout the land’s games and attractions.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is also expanding its magical offerings with new collectible glass wands themed to wizarding world characters, plus new interactive wands for Lord Voldemort, Sirius Black, and Luna Lovegood. These upgraded wands feature illuminated spell effects and haptic feedback throughout wizarding Paris. Later this summer, guests can also expect a new Mooncalf merchandise collection inspired by the adorable creatures found in Place Cachée.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk is getting in on the celebration with new Toothless-themed apparel and accessories, gold-accented Loungefly items, dragon egg plush collectibles, and a physical soundtrack release for the land’s sweeping musical score. Honestly, Universal knew exactly what they were doing putting collectible dragons in eggs. That is premium “take my money” energy.
Dark Universe rounds out the anniversary lineup with expanded customization at the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, including themed temporary tattoos and cosplay-inspired apparel at Pretorius’ Scientific Oddities. Additional merchandise arriving later this summer includes a Frankenstein Manor Loungefly bag and a full Darkmoor-inspired apparel collection.
Universal also confirmed that select anniversary merchandise items will be available online beginning tomorrow at shopUniversal.com, giving fans outside Orlando a chance to celebrate Epic Universe’s first year without stepping through a portal.

Music fans can also stream the newly released How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk soundtrack starting today, alongside the already available Dark Universe soundtrack. Between the vinyl releases and streaming launches, Universal is clearly leaning into the idea that Epic Universe is not just a theme park, but a full sensory playlist.
One year in, Epic Universe continues to evolve faster than a Mario Kart shortcut mushroom boost, and Universal does not seem interested in slowing down anytime soon.
