Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and ACL Music Festivals Are Coming to Disney+
If your summer plans didn’t include dropping a paycheck on festival tickets, flights, and overpriced camping gear, don’t stress. You’re about to get a front-row seat to the biggest music moments of the year without ever leaving your air-conditioned living room. Disney+ and Hulu just dropped some massive news: they are teaming up to livestream Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits (ACL) directly to subscribers worldwide.

While Hulu users in the U.S. have been enjoying this digital couch tour perk for the past six years, bringing Disney+ into the mix changes the entire game. By launching these livestreams globally, music fans spanning different continents and time zones can watch the exact same headliners smash their sets at the exact same time. Whether you want to catch the positive farm vibes of Bonnaroo in June, the massive city stages of Chicago’s Lollapalooza in mid-summer, or the iconic Texas sets of ACL in October, the festival season is officially coming to you.
The move makes total sense when you look at how much our music tastes have shifted lately. According to a recent global study by Live Nation, a whopping 73% of fans say they’re listening to more international artists than they used to, and 85% agree that live music completely transcends borders and languages. Music fandom isn’t tied to a single country anymore, so it’s only right that the festivals aren’t either. As Live Nation put it, these events used to be exclusive experiences reserved only for the people who could physically squeeze into the crowd. Now, they are turning into massive, shared cultural moments on a global scale.

It’s an on-site, freshly redesigned content studio embedded right at each festival.
