Soarin’ Across America Disney World Annual Passholder Previews Announced for Epcot
Disney has officially revealed that Annual Passholders will be among the first to experience the newest iteration of a fan-favorite attraction.
Previews for Soarin’ Across America are scheduled to take place at Epcot on May 19 and 20, 2026. This updated experience replaces the previous “Around the World” film, pivoting the focus back to domestic landscapes with an entirely new 4K production.
The previews offer Passholders a chance to see the refreshed visuals and smell the new integrated scents before the attraction opens to all guests on May 22nd.
A New Flight Path
The “Across America” version of the ride is designed to showcase a diverse range of United States landmarks and natural wonders.
While the full flight list remains a surprise for opening day, confirmed locations include a sunrise over the Grand Canyon, a glide through the skyscrapers of Chicago, and a return to the classic orange groves of Florida.
The updated experience includes several technical and sensory enhancements:
Higher Fidelity Visuals – The film was shot using custom-built 12K aerial cameras, providing incredible clarity on the massive IMAX projection screen.
Signature Scents – New scent profiles have been developed to match the locations, including fresh pine from the Pacific Northwest and sea salt breezes from the Atlantic coast.
Updated Score – The attraction features a sweeping new orchestral arrangement of the original Bruce Broughton score, recorded specifically to sync with the new flight path.
Preview Registration Information
Annual Passholders should look for a registration email to arrive shortly, as time slots for the May 19 and 20 previews are required.
Like previous preview events at Epcot, capacity is expected to be reached quickly. This debut marks the first major update to the Land Pavilion’s headliner since 2016, bringing a patriotic and nostalgic energy to World Nature just in time for the summer season.
