Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Reveals L.I.M.O. Ride Vehicles and Opening Date
It’s time to crank up the chaos because Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets just dropped a hilariously on-brand update straight out of Muppet Labs. The ride vehicles officially have a new name, and in true Muppet fashion, it’s not just a limo… it’s a L.I.M.O., short for Lengthy Immediate Motion Object. Because of course it is. These souped-up rides are designed to blast guests across town in record time alongside Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem as they race to make their next concert.

The reimagined attraction is officially set to open on May 26, 2026, just after Memorial Day, confirming earlier buzz about a holiday weekend debut. While the Muppets are bringing their signature brand of musical mayhem, Disney is keeping much of the ride’s high-speed DNA intact. The story still unfolds at G-Force Records, now owned by Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse, where guests will tour the studio, spot celebrity cameos, and inevitably get swept into a last-minute dash across Los Angeles when the band realizes they are late. Some things never change, they just get a lot more… Muppety.
Outside, the iconic guitar and upside-down ride vehicle are currently getting a fresh coat of paint, hinting at the colorful new tone of the attraction. Inside, expect queue updates featuring props and nods pulled from the now-closed MuppetVision 3D, giving longtime fans a few Easter eggs to spot while waiting to board their L.I.M.O. With MuppetVision 3D making way for Monstropolis, this coaster is stepping up as the new headliner for Muppet antics in the park.
