The Electric Mayhem Arrives at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
The transition from Aerosmith to the Muppets is officially in full swing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, Disney Parks shared the first look at the high-octane soundtrack that will accompany the “Super Stretch” limos when the attraction returns.

Leading the charge is a high-energy cover of “Song 2” by Blur, performed by none other than Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem. Known for its iconic “Woo-hoo!” chorus, the track is a perfect fit for the 0-to-60 mph launch that has made this coaster a fan favorite for decades. The version used in the ride is a brand-new recording specifically created by the Muppets for this attraction.
This reveal is just the first in a series of updates leading up to Thursday, April 16, when Disney is expected to drop the full set list and the official opening date for the ride. The teaser image released earlier this week featured six distinct decals on a road case, fueling rumors that the ride may feature a “randomized” soundtrack experience similar to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, with a different song for every ride.
While the track layout remains the same, the “story” of the ride is getting a major Muppet-style glow up. Guests will find themselves caught up in the chaotic world of The Electric Mayhem as the band rushes to their next big gig. With the inclusion of modern rock hits like “Song 2,” it is clear that Disney is aiming for a soundtrack that bridges the gap between classic Muppet humor and high-intensity rock and roll.
