Cinderella Castle Painting Nearly Complete as Moat Refill Appears Next
It looks like the royal glow-up at Cinderella Castle is entering its final chapter. From recent views around the hub, the gold detailing on the top spire now appears complete, catching even the gray Florida skies with a subtle shimmer. Meanwhile, the iconic blue turrets have fully transitioned away from their 50th anniversary look and into a deeper, classic royal blue, giving the castle a more timeless storybook finish.

Down below, the transformation continues in the moat area, where the previously murky green water has disappeared entirely. The moat remains drained, with construction equipment and tarped sections still visible, suggesting crews are wrapping up final work before refilling begins. The absence of water makes for a rare behind-the-scenes peek at the castle’s foundation, almost like seeing Cinderella’s carriage mid-transformation.
