First announced in May 2025 through a partnership between Miral and The Walt Disney Company, Disneyland Abu Dhabi will mark Disney’s first-ever theme park destination in the Middle East. The project is expected to be a dazzling blend of Disney magic and Emirati culture, with Bob Iger previously describing it as “authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati.” That means guests can likely expect a fusion of classic Disney storytelling with regional architecture, traditions, and a futuristic design flair that feels right at home in Abu Dhabi’s ever-growing tourism landscape.
