Disney Begins Preparing the Butterfly Garden for Flower & Garden Festival
The butterfly garden is officially taking shape near the Imagination Pavilion as Disney gears up for the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This fan-favorite walkthrough attraction is one of the first major structures to appear, signaling that a transformation of vibrant blooms and fluttering wings is just around the corner!
The Butterfly Landing is currently surrounded by long stretches of green scrim as Disney prepares for the upcoming festival. Construction is officially underway, with the signature silver tent poles now being installed to support the garden’s mesh enclosure. Once complete, this popular walkthrough experience allows guests to step inside a lush, sheltered environment to observe live butterflies flitting among the flowers.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns this spring, bringing with it an array of stunning topiaries, global gardens, interactive exhibits, and the Garden Rocks concert series. As previously announced, the 2026 festival will run from March 4 through June 1, offering guests nearly three months of floral magic.
