D23 Gold Members, it is time to raise a glass inside the pyramid. “The Spirit of the Mexico Pavilion: A D23 Experience at EPCOT” is bringing an intimate, flavor filled afternoon to the Mexico Pavilion on March 11, 2026 and it is shaping up to be one of the most spirited events of the year.

For $349 plus a small processing fee, guests 21 and older can sip, savor, and stroll through the history of this iconic World Showcase pavilion in a way that goes far beyond your average margarita stop.
The experience begins at 12:45 p.m. ET and kicks off with a private guided tasting at La Cava del Tequila led by Tequila Ambassador Humberto Soto. Guests will sample six premium agave spirits ranging from crisp blanco to aged tequilas and even an artisanal mezcal. Chips and guacamole are included as a palate cleanser, because every good tasting needs a little crunch between sips.
Attendees will also receive a keepsake Agave Connoisseur Club pin and a commemorative tequila cocktail glass etched by Arribas Brothers.
The afternoon continues with a D23 Member exclusive cocktail called “The Aztec Eagle,” created in collaboration with the Walt Disney Archives. The drink honors the moment when Walt Disney was awarded the Order of the Aztec Eagle by the Mexican government in 1943.
Guests will also receive a stainless steel beverage sphere etched with “23,” another sparkling keepsake to toast the day.
From there, the celebration moves to San Angel Inn for a curated tasting menu that pays tribute to the restaurant’s EPCOT opening in 1982 and its roots in Mexico City. Guests will select an appetizer, entrée, and dessert from a special menu created just for this event, along with a San Angel Inn margarita served in the style of the original Mexico City location.
To commemorate the meal, attendees will receive a replica of the original 1982 San Angel Inn menu and an event credential.
Check in runs from 12:15 to 12:40 p.m. at the outside podium of La Hacienda de San Angel, with the full experience wrapping up around 4:30 p.m. Park admission and parking are not included, so guests will need valid EPCOT admission in addition to their D23 event ticket.

If you have ever wanted to truly toast the spirit of the Mexico Pavilion, this is your shot. From premium pours to pavilion lore, this experience blends history, heritage, and a whole lot of agave magic inside one of EPCOT’s most beloved landmarks.
