Disneyland Resort is taking a significant step forward with its ambitious DisneylandForward expansion project. A newly filed permit indicates that a major cast member office building is slated for demolition to make way for the upcoming Eastern Gateway Parking Structure.

The permit, filed on February 11, 2026, outlines the planned demolition of the Team Disney Anaheim East office building. The 70,732-square-foot facility currently serves as an administrative and operations satellite for the resort and is located along the southern edge of the Manchester cast parking lot.
The removal of this building is a key component of the infrastructure needed to support the resort’s massive expansion plans. The new Eastern Gateway structure will provide approximately 6,000 parking spaces for guests. Construction on the garage is officially scheduled to begin in the fall of 2026.

This parking expansion arrives as Disneyland prepares for several high-profile additions, including:
- Avatar Land: A new immersive area replacing the former Monsters, Inc. attraction.
- Avengers Campus Expansion: The addition of two new attractions, Avengers: Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
- Coco Attraction: The first-ever boat ride inspired by the film, set in the vibrant Land of the Dead.
According to the permit, the building’s utilities will be capped and the foundation will remain. This approach is expected to facilitate the integration of necessary plumbing and electrical services for guest accommodations, such as pedestrian walkways and entry points, within the new parking complex.
