Reopening Date Set for ‘it’s a small world’ at Disneyland
The wait for the “Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed” is almost over! Disneyland has officially confirmed a reopening date for “it’s a small world,” as crews work around the clock to strip the festive décor and thousands of lights from the attraction’s iconic façade.

Disneyland has updated its official calendar, confirming that the “Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed” will return to its classic form on Friday, February 6, 2026. The attraction began its brief hiatus on January 26 to shed its seasonal skin and transition back to the original 1966 experience.
Recent sightings at the park show the transformation is in full swing. Scaffolding now lines the far end of the façade, and the Clock Tower has officially retired its Santa hat for the season. While some festive lights still linger, crews are making quick work of the exterior queue, marking the final stages of the holiday cleanup.
