20th Century Studios has officially dropped the first trailer, character posters, and production stills for the sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2. Nearly two decades after the original 2006 phenomenon defined a generation of fashion and film, the elite world of Runway Magazine is officially back in style.
The biggest news of all? The fashion world’s most formidable foursome is reuniting on the screen. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci all return to the sleek offices of New York City as Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel.
To keep the magic authentic, the sequel also reunites the original powerhouse creative team, including director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. We even have some familiar faces returning in supporting roles, with Tracie Thoms reprising her role as “Lily” and Tibor Feldman back as “Irv.”
While we’re here for the nostalgia, the sequel is introducing an all-new “runway” of characters to shake things up at Runway. The star-studded new cast includes:

Produced by Wendy Finerman, this fashionable follow-up is set to be the cinematic event of the spring. You won’t have to wait much longer to see if Andy is still wearing the Chanel boots—The Devil Wears Prada 2 debuts exclusively in theaters on May 1.
