Sprinkles Cupcakes Reportedly Closing at Disney Springs After Nearly a Decade
Sprinkles Cupcakes is reportedly set to close its Disney Springs location tomorrow, bringing a nearly ten-year run of cupcakes, cookies, and late-night sugar fixes in Town Center to an end. While neither Disney Springs nor Sprinkles has issued an official statement, multiple social media posts today claim that employees were notified they will be out of a job effective tomorrow.

In the days leading up to the reported closure, guests noticed several warning signs. Online ordering stopped showing pickup availability beyond December 31, and daily operations appeared to be quietly winding down without any formal announcement. Reports circulating today suggest that December 31, 2025, will be the location’s final day of operation.
According to multiple reports, the Disney Springs closure would be part of a larger nationwide wind-down of Sprinkles locations, making this more than just a local change. The Disney Springs shop opened in 2016 and gained particular notoriety for its rotating cupcake flavors and its iconic cupcake ATM, a novelty that epitomized the height of the cupcake craze.
