Disney Adventure World Opening on March 29th at Disneyland Paris
A historic transformation is set to unfold at Disneyland Paris. Disney has officially announced that the highly anticipated World of Frozen will open on March 29, 2026, officially marking the debut of the newly reimagined Disney Adventure World.
This milestone represents the beginning of a bold new era for the resort, nearly doubling the size of the second park (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park). Upon completion, over 90% of the park’s original offerings from 2002 will have been completely reimagined.
Here is everything we know about this massive expansion, from new attractions and dining to a groundbreaking nighttime spectacular.

World of Frozen: A New Land Awaits
The highlight of this expansion is the immersive World of Frozen, which brings the kingdom of Arendelle to life. Guests will be greeted by stunning architecture, a vibrant village square inspired by Nordic design, and the towering North Mountain crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace.
- Frozen Ever After: At the heart of the land is this family-friendly boat ride taking guests through iconic scenes from the films, enhanced by lifelike Audio-Animatronics figures.
- Royal Encounters: Guests can meet Queens Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle.
- Entertainment: “A Celebration in Arendelle,” a daytime show staged on Viking longships in Arendelle Bay.
- Shopping & Dining: The land features quick-service dining at Nordic Crowns Tavern and exclusive merchandise at Arendelle Boutique.

Adventure Way: The Gateway to Magic
To reach the new lands, guests will travel through Adventure Way, a beautiful new promenade featuring lush gardens, live entertainment, and 14 brand-new culinary experiences.
The area features themed gardens for relaxation:
- The Tangled Garden: A romantic setting inspired by Rapunzel.
- The Toy Story Garden: Featuring statues of Woody and Jessie among trees trimmed into toy shapes.
- The Gazebo Garden: An English-style retreat with bronze statues of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and the Dalmatians.

New Attraction: Raiponce Tangled Spin
Adventure Way will debut a new family attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin. Inspired by Tangled, guests will whirl around in gondolas beneath a sky illuminated with floating lanterns, accompanied by the song “I See the Light.”
- Fun Fact: Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded exclusive audio announcements for the ride.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge
Just beyond the Tangled attraction lies The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a refined table-service location offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The space features stunning murals of Disney Princesses and ornamental plates handmade by Royal Delft.

- Princess Dining: Guests will have the chance to meet princesses including Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel.
- A Park First: The location features a dedicated lounge—the first bar located at either of the two Disneyland Paris parks. Decorated in royal blue with gold accents, it celebrates princess animal companions like Heihei, Pascal, and Mushu.

New Nighttime Spectacular: ‘Disney Cascade of Lights’
As the day ends, the new Adventure Bay lake will transform into a stage for “Disney Cascade of Lights.” This 360° show is a dazzling celebration of courage and imagination, featuring stories from Mulan, Hercules, Moana, Zootopia, Up, and the Marvel Universe.

The show pushes the boundaries of innovation, featuring the world’s first integration of a revolutionary aquatic drone system alongside next-generation aerial drones, fountains, lasers, and a powerful orchestral score.

Robotic Olaf & Future Expansions
In a press conference, Disney also unveiled a next-generation robotic Olaf. Created by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with original film animators, this free-roaming figure can walk, interact, and features iridescent fibers that mimic the shimmer of real snow. Olaf is set to appear in the Arendelle Bay show and interacts with guests with an unmatched level of believability.

What’s Next? The story doesn’t end in 2026. Construction is already underway on a Lion King themed land, which will feature a major water-based attraction plunging guests into the Pride Lands. Additionally, a family-friendly flying carousel themed to Pixar’s Up will eventually join the lineup on Adventure Way.
