Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Embarks on Fresh Refurbishment Through 2026
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is getting a little extra pixie dust as a brand-new phase of refurbishment kicks off in late November 2025 and continues through 2026. While Disney is keeping the exact details close to the vest for now, the project will touch select areas around the resort as part of its ongoing refresh.

Guests should expect to see or hear work during daytime hours, but the good news is that most of the BoardWalk’s beloved amenities will remain up and running. Dining, recreation, and merchandise locations are expected to stay open, so you can still grab that must-have BoardWalk Bakery treat or enjoy a sunset stroll along Crescent Lake.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has already enjoyed several updates in recent years, with refreshed guest rooms, spruced-up public areas, and reimagined dining. This next phase seems aimed at addressing lingering spaces and continuing the resort’s evolution, though Disney has not yet confirmed what specific areas will close or what upgrades are on the horizon.
