Magical Disney Christmas Arrives at Selfridges

A Dazzling Spectacle Takes Over
If you’re near the Oxford Street store in London, prepare to be absolutely stunned. The entire facade has been transformed with a breathtaking light show inspired by the magnificent Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris. Every evening, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tinker Bell sprinkles her pixie dust every 15 minutes, setting off a shimmering spectacle across over 100 meters of lights! You’ll spot beloved icons like the Jolly Roger and Cinderella’s carriage, all twinkling to the soundtrack from Cinderella. The showstopper? A towering 36-foot-tall 3D Disney Castle, the biggest installation to grace the store in over half a century!
The magic spills into the windows, too. Twelve Oxford Street windows are showcasing reimagined Disney stories, complete with music, characters, and even a chance to interact with Tinker Bell thanks to the brilliant Disney Imagineers. Further whimsy awaits on Orchard Street with dreamy scenes from Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and Cinderella. Shoppers in Birmingham and Manchester will find illustrations from classics like Lady and the Tramp and Fantasia adorning their stores’ windows.
In-Store Enchantment and Park Treasures
The festive experiences continue inside! The Confetti Spectacle returns, this time with a Disney twist, featuring Santa, Mickey Mouse-inspired baubles, and the Christmas fashion fairy, Stardust, all singing their silly hearts out. Santa and his entourage are even performing live alongside DJs and singers! Craving a treat? The London store’s cafe is now Dolly’s Starring Disney, offering a gorgeous Disney Classics Afternoon Tea. Plus, themed sweet treats are available at Medicine Bakery in Birmingham and Gran Café in Manchester.
For the movie buffs, the Cinema at Selfridges is screening classic Disney flicks and even upcoming releases like Zootopia 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash. And if you love collecting, don’t miss the Magic of Disney pin trading event, bringing a beloved Disney Parks tradition right to London!
