A Plushie Mystery: Ever After’s Famous Chair Vanishes from Disney Springs
The Town Center at Disney Springs is home to many enchanting details, but few have been as instantly recognizable and popular for a photo-op as the giant plushie chair inside the newly reimagined Disney Ever After boutique. However, guests visiting the store recently have noticed a startling change: the famous chair has vanished.

Once a fluffy throne made entirely of beloved Disney plush characters, the chair has been a must-do stop for a whimsical selfie since the store transitioned to its “cute” new look earlier this year, focusing heavily on plush and accessories.
In its place, it seems only the nearby, plush-framed “plushie mirror” remains, still offering a cute, albeit less immersive, photo opportunity.

The sudden disappearance has sparked questions among Disney fans and shoppers. Is this a permanent removal? Or is the cuddly creation simply out for a little maintenance?
Speculation points to a possible refurbishment. Given the high traffic and constant stream of guests posing for photos, it’s plausible that the chair, which bears the weight and attention of countless daily visitors, was simply due for a deep cleaning, repair, or refresh of its plush inhabitants.
The Disney Ever After boutique remains open, continuing to sell its collection of adorable plush, custom headbands, and stylish accessories, but the absence of its centerpiece is keenly felt.
For now, the story of the missing plushie chair remains a mystery. We’re keeping a close eye on Disney Springs and hope this iconic, fun, and unbelievably cute photo-op returns soon to reclaim its throne!
