Best Friends Become Pop Stars in ‘Electric Bloom
Get ready to rock out with your new favorite girl group! Disney Branded Television has dropped the official trailer and poster for “Electric Bloom,” a music-driven comedy series that follows three best friends as they go from high school students to global pop sensations.

The first 13 episodes of “Electric Bloom” are set to stream on Disney+ on September 17, with the remaining episodes dropping on October 15. The series tells the story of the now-famous pop group, Electric Bloom, as they look back on their journey, starting from the day they first met in high school. The show chronicles their rise to fame and the development of their incredible friendship.

The series stars Lumi Pollack as the “perfectly put-together” Posey, Carmen Sanchez as school rebel Jade, and Ruby Marino as the quirky and optimistic Tulip. Nathaniel Buescher joins the main cast as Lucas, their class crush and biggest band supporter. The show also features a talented lineup of guest stars, including Dara Reneé (“Descendants: The Rise of Red”) and Maia Kealoha (“Lilo & Stitch”). Disney Channel fans will also recognize some familiar names behind the camera, with Danielle Fishel (“Boy Meets World”) and Phill Lewis (“The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”) serving as guest directors.
The music is a key part of the show’s charm, with iconic songwriter Diane Warren writing the majority of the songs, including the theme song. If you can’t wait for the premiere, you’re in luck: the four-track “Electric Bloom” EP is already available on all major digital platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. The full “Electric Bloom Original Soundtrack” is slated for release on September 12.
