Three New Menu Items Debut at Catalina Eddie’s in Hollywood Studios

New Italian Dishes at Catalina Eddie’s Serve Up Some Surprisingly Saucy Fare at Hollywood Studios

Move over Pizza Rizzo, Catalina Eddie’s just got a little more mamma mia with the addition of three new Italian-inspired menu items, and we swung by Disney’s Hollywood Studios to dig in. Located on Sunset Boulevard near Rosie’s All-American Café, Catalina Eddie’s may be known for its quick-service simplicity, but its latest additions hint at a flavorful pivot (possibly to fill the void left by the closures of Pizza Rizzo and Mama Melrose’s).

Here’s what we tried—and why we might be back for seconds.

🍝 Chicken Parmesan with Marinara Pasta – $13.29
This hearty plate features a breaded chicken cutlet on a bed of marinara-smothered pasta, paired with a slice of garlic bread. We were pleasantly surprised! The chicken was moist, not rubbery (a common pitfall in theme park quick service), and the marinara sauce packed a decent punch—with visible tomato chunks. If you’re not a fan of chunky sauces, this might be a pass, but for us, it added texture and depth. The garlic bread? Not exactly bursting with garlic, but buttery and warm, it definitely didn’t hurt the overall experience.

🍝 Alfredo Basil Chicken Pasta – $13.29
If marinara’s not your style, Catalina Eddie’s is also offering a basil-infused Alfredo version. While we did not enjoy this one as much as the Chicken Parmesan, it will likely be a hit with the Alfredo fans in your dining party!

🍰 Cookies and Cream Cannoli – $5.29
A cannoli at a theme park quick-service window? Let’s go! While the flavor was decent, with a lightly spiced cream (somewhere between cinnamon and coffee) and sweet chocolate chips on the edges, the shell left us wanting more crunch. It was soft, almost like a cookie that had been sitting in the Florida sun too long. Still, for a quick sweet treat, it’s not a bad option.

Overall Thoughts
Is Catalina Eddie’s becoming the de facto Italian spot at Hollywood Studios now that some of its neighbors have shuttered? It sure seems like it. The new items add welcome variety, especially if you’re craving pasta over burgers and fries. The Chicken Parm is definitely the standout—flavorful, filling, and perhaps just the carb-load you need to power through a full day in the parks.
