Disney Makes Lightning Lane Changes with the Reopening of Test Track

Get ready to update those Genie+ game plans! With the newly reimagined Test Track 3.0 set to reopen at EPCOT on July 22, Disney is giving the Lightning Lane Multi Pass tiers a bit of a tune-up, and Test Track is officially revving into the top spot.

Starting July 22, Test Track joins Tier 1 of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections. That means when booking, guests can now choose one of the following top-tier attractions:

• Test Track (beginning July 22)
• Frozen Ever After
• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Meanwhile, Soarin’ Around the World will be demoted to Tier 2 on the same day, joining attractions like:

• Mission: SPACE
• The Seas with Nemo & Friends
• Spaceship Earth
• Living with the Land
• Journey Into Imagination with Figment
• Soarin’ Around the World (as of July 22)
• Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
• Turtle Talk with Crush

So, what does this mean for parkgoers? For starters, it should ease a bit of the crowding around Frozen and Remy, which have been the top Lightning Lane picks for EPCOT guests and routinely vanish within minutes of booking windows opening. With Test Track reentering the lineup, guests now have a new high-demand option in Tier 1, giving everyone a better shot at snagging a coveted early return time.
