Disney Files Notice for Removal of Triceratop Spin and Fossil Fun Games

Disney has taken the first official step toward the transformation of DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom. A Notice of Commencement has been filed by Walt Disney Imagineering for the demolition of Triceratop Spin and the Fossil Fun Games in Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama.

The entire DinoLand USA area is set to be demolished over the next year to make way for the new Tropical Americas expansion. This new land will feature attractions inspired by Indiana Jones and Disney’s Encanto.

The Dinosaur attraction will be the last part of the area to close, remaining open through the end of 2025. Afterward, it will be re-themed into an Indiana Jones ride, similar to the version at Disneyland.
