Taking its name from They Call It Pro Football—the iconic 1967 NFL Films production—this show is more than just a nod to history. Produced by NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and Kelce’s own Wooderboy Productions, They Call It Late Night will bring Kelce’s unmatched humor, love for the game, and larger-than-life personality to the Union Transfer stage in Philadelphia. With celebrity guests, live music from Philly’s favorite band SNACKTIME, and an audience full of passionate NFL fans, the show promises to be as electric as an overtime touchdown.
Each hour-long episode will tape live on Friday evenings and air just hours later on ESPN at 1 a.m. ET, with the finale starting at 1:30 a.m. The show’s schedule aligns with the NFL post-season, airing weekly from Week 18 through the playoffs, right up to the Pro Bowl. And for those who can’t catch it live, episodes will also be available on ESPN+, ESPN YouTube, and the Jason Kelce channel on YouTube, with replays on ESPN2 Saturday mornings.
A Late-Night Experience Tailored for NFL Fans
Expect laughs, insight, and plenty of surprises as Kelce dives into NFL storylines in his own uniquely entertaining way. Celebrity guests from the world of football and beyond will join Kelce to break down the weekend’s matchups, sharing analysis, anecdotes, and perhaps a few touchdowns worth of trash talk. Fans in attendance will also get in on the action, making it an interactive experience as lively as a game day tailgate.
And it wouldn’t be a true Philadelphia affair without live music. SNACKTIME will set the tone with their infectious blend of soul, funk, hip hop, and rock, ensuring that the show is as much a party as it is a late-night talk show.
