Lightning Lane Premier Pass Sells Out for Multiple Thanksgiving Week Dates at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass, a premium service offering expedited access to all Lightning Lane attractions, has sold out for several days during Thanksgiving week at Magic Kingdom. This marks a growing trend of high demand for the service, despite its premium price point.

The first sellout occurred on Monday, November 25th, for both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, also sold out quickly, with the Premier Pass reaching its highest price yet at Magic Kingdom – $449.

As of today, the following dates are sold out for Magic Kingdom:

• Saturday, November 23rd
• Monday, November 25th
• Tuesday, November 26th
• Wednesday, November 27th
• Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day)

The Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows guests to use the Lightning Lane entrance for any participating attraction at any time during the day, offering a significant advantage for those looking to maximize their time and experience more rides with minimal wait times.

While initially limited to guests at select Disney World Resort hotels, the Premier Pass is now available to guests at all Disney World hotels. Guests can purchase the pass up to seven days before their vacation.

The recent sellouts highlight the increasing popularity of the Premier Pass, even with its premium pricing. Guests planning to visit Magic Kingdom during Thanksgiving week are encouraged to consider alternative options for managing wait times, such as the standard Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or arriving early to utilize standby lines.

As the holiday season approaches and park attendance increases, it’s possible that more dates for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass could sell out. Guests are advised to monitor availability and make their purchases early if they wish to utilize this service during their visit.
