Grand Floridian Resort Christmas Tree Brightens the Holidays for 2024
The holiday season has officially arrived at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The centerpiece of this festive transformation is the Grand Floridian’s breathtaking Christmas tree, which now stands proudly in the resort’s iconic lobby. Nearly four stories tall, this magnificent tree is a seasonal tradition beloved by guests and visitors alike.

Located between the birdcage and the elevator, the tree exudes elegance with its golden string lights and an array of dazzling decorations. Snowflake-shaped ornaments catch the eye with their intricate detail, each one paying homage to the classic carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” One particularly charming ornament features a ballerina and the number 9, representing “nine ladies dancing.”
Adding to the whimsy, swans—a signature element of the Grand Floridian’s holiday décor—are gracefully tucked into the tree’s branches. Vintage-style decorations, such as a Santa Claus figure encased in a golden lantern frame, evoke nostalgia and charm, blending seamlessly with the resort’s Victorian elegance.

Wreaths throughout the lobby echo the tree’s swan motif, accented with delicate flowers, while garlands draped along the railings on the upper balconies complete the scene. Whether you’re staying at the resort or just stopping by to soak in the holiday atmosphere, the Grand Floridian’s Christmas decorations are sure to make your season bright.
