The Cake Bake Shop Soft Opens today, with Full Opening Tomorrow
The highly anticipated Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has finally arrived at Disney’s BoardWalk. After a soft opening on Thursday, October 24th, the bakery and restaurant will officially open its doors to the public on Friday, October 25th.

Hours of Operation
- Bakery: Open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Restaurant:
- Breakfast: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM (starting Friday)
- Lunch and Dinner: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (starting Friday)
Reservations and Walk-Ins
For now, The Cake Bake Shop is only accepting walk-in guests. However, reservations will be available in the coming weeks through the My Disney Experience app.
A Long-Awaited Arrival
The Cake Bake Shop takes over the space previously occupied by the ESPN Club, which closed in 2022. The bakery and restaurant was initially scheduled to open in 2023 but faced delays. After construction walls came down earlier this month, the pricey menu caused a stir online, leading to some adjustments in pricing.
