Epic Universe Single Day Ticket Prices Revealed

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders were able to begin purchasing single day tickets to Epic Universe this morning

The highly anticipated Epic Universe theme park at Universal Orlando Resort is one step closer to reality as single-day tickets went on sale this morning to annual passholders! The pricing revealed is surprisingly reasonable, with tickets starting at just $121 per day. For those planning to visit during the park’s opening weekend, ticket prices range from $156 to $164, depending on the day. The grand opening on May 22, 2025, is priced at $156, while the higher price point of $164 applies to Saturday and Sunday.

As of the time of the writing of this article, sales to passholders were paused due to high demand overloading the system, and opening day ticket allotment for passholders appears to be sold out (note: a limited number of tickets were reserved for passholders, so opening day being sold out to passholders does NOT necessarily mean single day tickets for the parks opening day will not be available at a later date).

To put the ticket pricing into perspective, a single-day ticket for Epic Universe on May 24 starts at $164, which is competitively priced compared to Walt Disney World. On the same day, a ticket to Animal Kingdom starts at $159, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT at $179, and Magic Kingdom at $184. Universal’s pricing strategy positions Epic Universe as an attractive option for visitors looking to experience Orlando’s latest blockbuster theme park at a reasonable cost.

Epic Universe, set to open on May 22, 2025, promises to immerse guests in five fantastical lands, delivering full-length feature storytelling, a groundbreaking approach first explored in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. At a recent New York Comic Con panel, Universal’s creative team discussed how Epic Universe is redefining theme park design, offering adventures that stretch beyond individual attractions and carry guests through entire lands with deep narratives and interactivity.

Park Overview and Themed Lands

Universal’s Epic Universe is set to redefine the theme park experience, offering visitors an immersive journey through five unique and fully realized themed lands. Unlike traditional theme parks, where each attraction tells its own isolated story, Epic Universe takes a more cinematic approach. Each land in the park will feature continuous narratives, engaging guests in full-length feature-style adventures that span the entire land—a concept first explored with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and now brought to life on an even larger scale.

Here’s a breakdown of the five immersive lands that guests can look forward to:

1. Celestial Park:
   As the central hub of Epic Universe, Celestial Park invites guests into a cosmic world filled with lush greenery, walkways, and fountains. The towering Chronos device welcomes visitors through the Emerald Gate, transporting them into a magical space where day turns to night in a stunning transformation. Attractions like the Constellation Carousel and Stardust Racers bring cosmic adventures to life, while restaurants and retail offerings invite guests to explore the beauty and mystery of the stars. 2. How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk:
   Fans of the How to Train Your Dragon films will be thrilled to step into the Viking village of Berk, where they can soar through the skies on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, meet beloved characters like Toothless and Hiccup, and watch the live show The Untrainable Dragon. Other attractions like Dragon Racer’s Rally offer a high-energy thrill, while the land’s immersive design invites visitors to embrace their inner Viking and explore the world of dragons up close. The combination of live shows, rides, and character encounters makes this land perfect for families and adventure seekers alike.
3. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™:
   After the success of Super Nintendo World in Japan, Universal is bringing the iconic world of Mario, Luigi, and friends to Epic Universe. Guests will enter this colorful land through the familiar green warp pipe and step into Super Mario Land™ and Donkey Kong Country™. Attractions like Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Mine-Cart Madness will transport guests directly into their favorite video games. 4. Dark Universe:

The eerie atmosphere of Darkmoor sets the stage for attractions like Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf, which promise heart-pounding thrills and terrifying encounters. 5. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™:
   Continuing the legacy of the Wizarding World, Epic Universe will introduce visitors to an entirely new section of the beloved franchise. The Ministry of Magic spans two distinct eras: the magical 1920s of Fantastic Beasts, set in wizarding Paris, and the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. The star attraction, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, is a groundbreaking dark ride that will take guests on a thrilling adventure alongside Harry, Ron, and Hermione. In Celestial Park, guests can enjoy cosmic-inspired dishes at the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant or relax at Pizza Moon with its intergalactic twist on classic pizzas.

The Universal Helios Grand Hotel, with its Mediterranean design and exclusive views of the park, is expected to be a top-tier resort, offering guests luxury accommodations right outside Celestial Park.
