As reported by DVC News, Disney Vacation Club has initiated construction work in the Kidani Village area, indicating the start of the highly anticipated refurbishment project. This aligns with previous announcements by DVC regarding plans to renovate the Animal Kingdom Villas.
While the Kidani Village roof was refurbished in 2023 and various amenities were updated in 2022, the upcoming refurbishment will be more extensive. This project will involve a significant overhaul of the guest rooms, going beyond the soft goods refresh completed in 2016.
The construction permit for this project expires on December 31, 2025. However, there is no confirmed timeline for the start or completion of the refurbishment work.
