Cancellation & Change Fee updates have been extended through October 16

Walt Disney World has extended its cancellation and change fees policy once again in response to the continued impact of Hurricane Milton. Initially, the policy was extended through October 14, allowing guests more flexibility in adjusting their plans. The storm, which prompted the early closure of Walt Disney World theme parks on Tuesday, October 9, has significantly affected the region. The parks remained closed through Thursday, October 10, as a precaution for the safety of guests and Cast Members. This closure also included Disney Springs, the Disney Springs parking garages, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, and both of Disney’s miniature golf courses.

In addition, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which was scheduled for Thursday, October 10, was canceled due to the storm. Guests with tickets to the event received full refunds, ensuring that those affected by the cancellation are not financially impacted.
