In a heartwarming gesture, Disney surprised educators in public schools across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Polk, and Lake Counties with a delivery of park tickets and a visit from some pretty amazing friends.

The lucky teachers were greeted by none other than Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto, bringing smiles and a bit of pixie dust to classrooms just in time for the first week of school. Elizabeth Castillo, a teacher at Discovery Intermediate in Osceola County, expressed her excitement, saying, “I used to work at Disney, and I always try to bring Disney magic into my classroom. Their support of teachers means everything to me.”
Central Florida educators play a vital role in nurturing the next generation of storytellers and dreamers, and Disney is committed to supporting them. Beyond the magical visits, Walt Disney World has made a new donation aimed at bringing more programs and opportunities to life for Florida families. Serita Beamon, Superintendent of Seminole County Public Schools, highlighted the impact, noting, “Disney has supported our school district for years, and this latest investment means more kids will have access to career mentors and scholarship funds. It means expanded opportunities for students in Seminole County.”
