Disney Imagineers Test Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom
After successfully conducting tests with water dummies, Imagineers took the inaugural ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom this past Friday.
Here is a look at the water flowing on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure last week.
@DrewDisneyDude, known for sharing updates on theme park developments, previously posted a video of the water dummy testing. He later shared another video on X, showcasing four Imagineers donning ponchos and orange construction vests as they boarded a log ride vehicle for the thrilling adventure.

The video captured the moment as the log ride vehicle splashed down the mountain, eliciting cheers from both Imagineers and onlookers.
Ted Robledo, Executive Creative Director on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and other Walt Disney Imagineering project team members riding the attraction for the first time at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World!
As the ride concluded, one of the crew members in the front row was seen capturing the experience on their phone, while another jokingly exclaimed, “It works!” The excitement and enthusiasm were palpable as the team celebrated the successful ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
There still is no official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom other than Summer 2024 but with Disney Imagineers doing testing this makes us hopeful it is at the beginning of summer!
