Disney hikes Annual Pass prices by up to $50

For the second time in less than a year, Disneyland Resort has hiked prices for annual park passes.

Starting today, theme park-goers will pay between $30 and $50 more than they paid in early 2009 for the same annual passes that can be used at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. The hikes range from 11 percent to 26 percent.

The prices for annual passes depend on the number of “blackout” dates. With the cheapest passes, Southern California residents can go to the parks on 170 specific days. The most-expensive passes can be used every day by any buyer. Those Premium pass prices have gone up $90 in the past five years.

Disneyland Resort last increased pass prices on Aug. 1. Suzi Brown, a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman, said annual pass prices are usually adjusted once or twice annually. Read about the 2009 price hikes HERE.
