Cinderella Castle Turrets Repainted After 50th Anniversary Celebration. Well, it has only been three months since Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary ended, and Cinderella Castle is back to a new normal. With the removal of all the gold spirals, bunting, and other overlay pieces, Cinderella Castle should be complete as of now.
The moat that surrounds the castle has also received an overhaul of damaged rock pieces, crews have moved on to repainting parts that may have been scuffed or faded from the wonderful Florida seasons and weather. It looks like this color scheme will be sticking around for the near future.
