The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World is one of the funnest extra’s you can do if you have a little girl! The salon is normally noisy and crowded but each “Fairy Godmother” treat the girls as if they are the only ones there! It is a must do for us each time we visit Walt Disney World. In order to make that happen, I have had to come up with ways to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on a Budget!
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers three different packages to choose from.
- Coach Package includes hairstyling and shimmering makeup—starting at $49.95 USD plus tax.
- Crown Package includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup and nails—starting at $54.95 USD plus tax
- Castle Package includes the Crown Package plus the Imaging Package (one 6″ x 8″ and four 4″ x 6″ photos in a princess-themed photo holder) and complete costume of your choice with accessories—starting at $189.95 USD plus tax.
We ALWAYS choose the crown package! Not only do you get the hair, makeup and nail – there is a photopass photographer going around taking your daughters picture constantly! So if you have already ordered the photopass cd, like we do, there is no need to have extra prints of these when you have already paid for them on the photopass cd.
On top of choosing the Crown Package for our daughter, we always bring a princess dress from home! We normally make a trip to our local Disney Store before our vacation and pick up a dress of her choosing. This runs us normally less than $40.00 depending on which dress she chooses and if we get accessories. That is a lot cheaper than the dresses at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! And guess what… they treat you no different if you bring your dress from home! Just tell the ladies up front and they will arrange for you to go into the fitting room and put it on just like the girls who bought the more expensive package! It really is great, Disney does a great job of accommodating people with all types of budgets! You certainly don’t have to bring a princess dress at all. One year my daughter just wore a special outfit we picked out for her instead! Etsy is a great place to look for custom outfits and they are reasonably priced! No matter what you choose for your child to wear, your Fairy Godmother will make a fuss over her!
I also like the crown package because of the goodie bag you recieve at the end of your daughters makeover. You will receive the makeup pallet used on your daughter, two bottles of nail polish, the rest of the face gems and a pretty sash! It is really fun to take this bag home and use it to play Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with your child once your vacation is over!
There are several dresses and accessories for sale at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They are never forced on you, in fact I have never even been asked if I would like to purchase anything other than my package! It is really great to not feel pressured into spending more money! Make sure you do save a little cash out to tip your Fairy Godmother! They do a great job with the girls and make it a lot of fun! You can put your tip in a special wishing well and make a wish, everything is an event at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
And here is a tip for moms too, at the end when they glitter up your daughter ask for them to do you too! They will sprinkle pixie dust on you and you can be glittered right along side of your child! It is a fun little extra I love to have done!
No matter which package you choose, you will certainly have a great time and with my tips you might save a little money too!

One of the BEST things about our first visit to Disney World. (Of course, it didn’t hurt that I got to meet Helio Castroneves right outside the boutique while waiting for our appointment! 🙂
We did the Crown Package and brought a dress from home…she had a marvelous time and was such a Princess! She loved it. One of her best memories from our visit there.
Having just returned from DIsney I was able to see all little girls walking around..you can tell immediately that they had been to the boutique. Honestly though..they all looked the same. All their hair was styled the same the faces were the same ..sparkles makeup etc. The only difference was which princess they chose. My daughter was too young to attend but I am not that disappointed given what I saw. I hope they expand the choices they give for hair and such in the next couple of years so When I bring my daughter she wont look like everyother little girl in the park.
When we did BBB this past April, they gave my daughter a ton of freebies like the Mickey head bracelet and stickers. They are now doing the photo session at Castle Couture.
Wonderful tips! We have one in Disneyland under Sleeping Beauty’s castle now I can’t wait to take my princess there!
I can’t wait to have my little girl so I can do this with her!
When we have a little girl, on her first trip, we are doing this. It looks so fun!
Another thing a lot of folks don’t realize is, no matter what package you choose, you can have an additional photo shoot. Just head over to Exposition Hall and they will take your little princess to a professional portrait type area and take her pictures. We also choose the crown package. My daughter has been 3 times and we have an appt scheduled for our upcoming trip.
awesome! and great to know! I have only heard of the super expensive options so it is nice to know they can get the great experience at a more reasonable rate 🙂
We have done it 2 times – 1 time in Disneyland and the 1 time in the castle at Disney World. We love it. we just do the coach package and my daughter wears her own dress that we brought with us. I got a great deal on a Cinderella dress for $15 at the Disney Store. It is a magical experience.
I really look forward to the day when we go to DW and my daughter is old enough to go to the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique! Thank you for the tips on making it more affordable!
