TikTok user @justnjames_ shared a video of the boat sinking on the social media platform.
“It was a hot mess. Honestly thought we were gonna swim our way out of this.”
The video shows water starting to fill the boat near the final turn before the boats return to the loading area. You can also see guests on the boat lifting their feet to keep them from getting soaked by the water filling the bottom of the boat.
Captions on the video say the guests waited an hour before the Disneyland fire department rescued them. We aren’t sure exactly when the boat started to fill with water.
The TikTok user commented that Disney compensated the guests with $30 vouchers for socks and some Lightning Lane passes.
