Wednesday Dethrones Stranger Things 4 most hours viewed in a week
Netflix’s Wednesday is certainly a hit! The supernatural series drew a whopping 341.23 million hours viewed in its first week on the streaming service, soaring to the top of the TV charts.
It now holds the record for the most hours viewed in a week for any English-language TV series on Netflix. Impressively, that beats Stranger Things 4, which previously held the title. At its peak, the first seven episodes of Stranger Things 4 notched 335 million hours viewed in their first full week on the service (and second week in the Top 10).

Stuck in the Middle, Elena of Avalor, and Jane the Virgin star, Jenna Ortega has the leading role of Wednesday Addams in the live-action series on Netflix. The Wednesday series is helmed by famed director Tim Burton. Jenna Ortega is joined by the likes Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman, playing Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively.
Wednesday is Tim Burton’s first live-action television project. The series primarily focuses on the character Wednesday Addams as she navigates a more modern world in the 2020’s with her unique outlook on life and death. Joining Burton as executive producers are Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville). Gough and Millar co-wrote the series and act as showrunners throughout production.
