Six Disney World Area Restaurants Receive Michelin Recognition

Walt Disney World is known for some amazing restaurants. We’re excited to share that seven Walt Disney World area restaurants have been recognized by the Michelin Guide! One was even awarded a Michelin Star.

The Michelin Guide is a yearly book that ranks fine dining locations on a 3-star rating system. Michelin inspectors look for a specific set of criteria, including:

• Quality of products
• Mastery of flavor and cooking techniques
• The personality of the chef represented in the dining experience
• Harmony of flavors
• Consistency between inspectors’ visits

Not every restaurant receives a star but some receive other recognition. The Michelin Plate is given to restaurants where inspectors found the food to be of good quality. Several Disney area restaurants received a Michelin Plate.

Capa-Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Located at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Capa received a Michelin star! Capa is a Spanish-influenced rooftop steakhouse. The menu includes seafood, small plates, and steaks.

California Grill-Disney’s Contemporary Resort

A guest-favorite restaurant, California Grill, received a Michelin Plate. The restaurant is located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and offers stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom.

The Polite Pig-Disney Springs

Disney Springs is home to many great restaurants. One of which, The Polite Pig, received a Michelin Plate! At The Polite Pig, you’ll find a selection of southern-style sandwiches, sides, and salads.

Citricos-Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is home to Citricos which received a Michelin Plate. Cítricos is themed after the 2018 film Mary Poppins Returns with a Floridian and Mediterranean-influenced menu.

Ravello-Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Another restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Orlando was recognized by the Michelin Guide. Ravello received a Michelin Plate! It’s an Italian-influenced restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner.

Morimoto Asia-Disney Springs

Another Disney Springs restaurant also received a Michelin Plate. Morimoto Asia has an inventive menu that combines Asian cuisines.
