Attendees at Star Wars Celebration were shown a snippet of the upcoming Ahsoka Disney+ series!
The upcoming limited series is written by Dave Filoni and executive produced by Filoni and Jon Favreau.
Star Wars will be keeping its formula for live-action TV alive in Ahsoka, by giving fans live-action adapations of popular characters like Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Thrawn, and Ezra. Plus, both Chopper and Hera are confirmed to be appearing in the series, too!
The appearances of the Star Wars Rebels characters in the Ahsoka trailer is quite exciting for long-time fans of the animated series.

The footage shown at Star Wars Celebration featured Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. She’s shown in both temples and unidentified landscapes, as well as on the Ghost, the ship many Star Wars fans have come to know and love from Rebels. Shots of an HK-47 droid were also seen, plus fans were treated to a shot of Hera Syndulla, the captain of the Ghost, from behind, who was last seen at the end of Rebels and has long been a fan-favorite character. The footage ended with Sabine Wren looking fondly at a live-action version of the mural she painted in Rebels, staring fondly at the painted Ghost crew, including Ezra Bridger, whose disappearance was a focal point of Rebels, and seems to be the focal point of Ahsoka as well.
