Kylo Ren on Rise of the Resistance is now in B Mode. Since opening in 2019, Rise of the Resistance constantly wins ride of the year. If you pay attention around March, you will say many bloggers, influencers, and podcasters, are all doing a version of Ride March Madness Brackets. RoTR has won the top Disney ride in many people’s minds. You can watch a full-ride POV video below.
Unfortunately, we are noticing more and more the inconsistent ride performance of RoTR. Do not get us wrong we love everything Disney and Star Wars, but you have to be objective and let people know what is going on. We see B Mode Kylo way more than we see the original mode that has Kylo animatronic with Lightsaber start chasing the vehicle through the next few scenes.
B Mode, unfortunately, hides the Kylo animatronic behind a slab of steel. Instead, guests are treated to a video of Kylo flying just outside the ship. The storyline itself is not affected, and Disney does a great job of covering it all up. If you have not experienced RoTR you may not notice this.
