Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen Replace Belle and Beast During Festival of Fantasy Parade!

The Festival of Fantasy Parade has returned to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Yesterday, during the noon parade, Princess Tiana & Prince Naveen replaced Belle and Beast on the front float.

Twitter user Denise at Mousesteps shared a photo of the couple from The Princess and the Frog on the front float.

“Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen replaced Beauty and Beast to front the noon Festival of Fantasy Parade.”

Typically, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are on the other end of the float, circling with Frozen’s Anna and Elsa. Yesterday, however, no characters were in that spot.

There’s no exact reason why Disney made this character change or if it is a permanent. Rumor is that the spinning float is damaged and Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen were moved until the float is fixed.
