The animated Marvel Cinematic Universe series adapts a comic series of the same name in which alternate realities are explored having branched off from iconic moments in hero’s lives. For Marvel’s What If…?, these are branched off from notable MCU events, including Tony Stark being saved by Killmonger, T’Challa becoming Star-Lord, and the Avengers dealing with zombies.
At least four Marvel shows are set to hit Disney+ later this year. That includes Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and What If…? season two. Marvel fans can also expect to see I Am Groot and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+ later this year.
