Sony has just released the final trailer for the long-awaited Morbius movie today. The vampire comic book character is a familiar name to Spider-Man fans. He’s been both villain and anti-hero in Marvel comics over the years, but will make his first live action appearance with Jared Leto in the lead role.
The newest trailer gives us a look into the conflicted nature of Michael Morbius, a biochemist turned vampire who has to fight his new blood-hungry tendencies in order to discover who he is meant to be.

The movie debuts in theaters on April 1st, 2022.
A synopsis of the film reads, “Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil—or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?“
Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinosa and stars Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson, with a special appearance by Michael Keaton as Vulture. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless have penned the script for Sony and Marvel Entertainment.
