No Socially Distance Character Interaction on Galactic Starcruiser are the parks next? One of the overlooked things from the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser preview was the no Physical Distance Character Meets or Socially DIstant Meet and Greets. From the Captain to Lt. Croy to the singer Gaya, all the interactions were face to face and up close.
Could this be the start of the change back to real character interactions at Walt Disney World Parks? Onboard the Halcyon we played and interacted with all the characters, there was no social distancing at all. We got hands-on, or they got handsy with us. Gaya would walk by our table singing. In the Atrium, during some of the major scenes, the characters like Chewbacca, Sammie, and also Stormtroopers all walked around us and would make sure we were safe.
Could the Parks be next? It has to be only a matter of time now, or the chorus of voices will become a very loud angry mob screaming about how Star Wars new Resort gets to meet the characters up close but not at the parks.
