Disney recently shared that the newest attraction coming to Epcot, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, would be opening sometime this summer. We now might have a possible opening date!

Disney’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Geoff Morrell shared on Twitter today that he got to test ride the attraction and that guests would get to enjoy it Memorial Day weekend.
His tweet was later edited to say “Coming soon” rather than ”Check it out starting Memorial Day weekend”.

The full tweet reads:
“Just another day at the office–got to “test ride” the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster at @WaltDisneyWorld EPCOT. Walt Disney Imagineers deigned this one like no other ride you’ve ever been on. Have to ride it to believe it! Coming soon!”
Our fingers are crossed that Memorial Day weekend is for sure the opening date for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We also got to see some new concept art for the loading area of the attraction.
Take this information with a grain of salt. Disney will announce the opening date when they’re ready.
